Blubberlip Snapper

Blubberlip Snapper, a variety of snapper, is found mainly in the Indian ocean region and inhabits the Pacific ocean till Samoan Island. They live in the rocky substratum of the oceans and can grow up to 13 kg. They are more of a solitary fish and even when they move in groups they do so in small groups of 10-20 fishes.

Culinary Features

The fish with its typical skin is versatile to cook like any other snapper species. They can be grilled, pan-fried, deep-fried, and baked as one may like it.
